RALSA is an association of British Council
accredited language schools located in and around Bournemouth.



The Association has existed for more than 25 years and having been established on the fundamental principles of promoting Bournemouth as a centre of educational excellence. Click here to view a list of all RALSA members.

RALSA members want to play an active role in giving new students, existing students and all visitors to this website an insight into the areas of interest that affect students, host families, teachers, the community of the area and anyone with an interest in visiting this world renowned area of study.

The Association operates as a committee to provide a forum for members to discuss matters of educational and professional interest.
The primary objectives of all RALSA schools are to offer quality English language tuition to international students in safe, secure and professionally accredited institutes.

The RALSA Carnival Ball raises £1,000 for Mayor’s charities
£1,000 was raised for charity by RALSA at the Carnival Ball, hosted by Bliss nightclub in Bournemouth, on Thursday, 20 October 2011. Students from RALSA (Regional Accredited Language Schools Association) member schools attended the party dressed in a variety of Carnival costumes!

The Mayor of Bournemouth, Councillor Chris Rochester, was presented with a cheque for £1,000 towards supported charities by Mr. Mark Henwood, Chair of RALSA and school representatives Mr. Guido Schillig, Mr. Clive Barrow and Ms. Pat Marchiori White.
